Morgan-Keller Construction recently completed Culler Lake Desiltation and Park Improvement Project in Baker Park located in downtown Frederick, Maryland. This project involved draining the lake for the removal of silt and sediment, replacing the original fountain, and additional sediment controls including new wetland areas with boardwalks and additional floating fountains
Morgan-Keller completed the project for the City of Frederick and the Architect was MSB Architects of Hagerstown, MD. The project was spearheaded by the Friends of Baker Park, Inc., a non-profit, volunteer-staffed community service organization dedicated to fostering community involvement with Frederick City Government in the preservation, restoration, use, and maintenance of Baker Park.
Jerry Bowman, Morgan-Keller’s Executive Vice President said the following, “Morgan-Keller is pleased to have been involved with this project in our own community. The revitalized lake and its surroundings will greatly benefit the aesthetics and environment of Baker Park.”
