Morgan-Keller Construction received three Associated Builders and Contractors Cumberland Valley Chapter Excellence in Construction awards on Thursday, September 14th at the Fountain Head Country Club in Hagerstown, MD. Morgan-Keller was also presented with a 2017 Gold Level Safety Training Evaluation Process (STEP) Award in recognition of Morgan-Keller’s ongoing efforts in the development of a quality safety program.

Innovative Incorporated, Hagerstown, MD
First Place - Renovation (Less than $4 Million)
This project involved a 9,861 SF, two-story renovation including a new facade and entrance. Project features include an arched metal canopy and glass storefront entry, as well as new HVAC and finishes throughout. The interior space combines glass walls, hexagonal ceiling tiles, and an unusual lighting layout to create the desired atmosphere.
Mercersburg Academy - Alumni Welcome Center, Mercersburg, PA
First Place - Institutional (Less than $5 Million)
3,170 SF renovation of the campus’ existing North Cottage and a 7,140 SF addition to the former headmaster’s residence to create a multi-purpose facility and overnight accommodations for alumni, parents, and the school’s staff. Designed for social events, the renovation includes a 1,450 SF outdoor terrace with picturesque views.
Sandy Spring Bank - Entry, Lobby and Boardroom, Olney, MD
First Place - Commercial (Less than $5 Million)
The project involved modifications to the corporate headquarters including a new, expanded 215 SF entry, a 724 SF renovation of the first-floor lobby, and a 2,504 SF renovation to the second-floor boardroom and reception area. Alterations involved modernization of the space including state-of-the-art technology, high end finishes, and frosted glass paneling.
