Morgan-Keller Construction received four Associated Builders and Contractors Cumberland Valley Chapter Excellence in Construction Awards on Thursday, October 7th at the Fountain Head Country Club in Hagerstown, MD. Morgan-Keller was also presented with a 2021 Silver Level Safety Training Evaluation Process (STEP) Award in recognition of Morgan-Keller’s ongoing efforts in the development of a quality safety program.

The Bottling Plant, Frederick, MD
First Place - Residential - Multi-Family Projects
This iconic project included the adaptive reuse of a 9,200 SF historic Coca-Cola Bottling Plant into commercial space and the construction of an 86-unit, 115,000 SF apartment building. The new four-story structure matches that of the existing industrial / art deco building including flat roofs, brick materials, and smooth-faced stone.

Hagerstown, MD
First Place - Historical Restoration / Renovation (Less than $25 Million)
Morgan-Keller built a three-story addition to the back area of this preexisting restaurant, doubling its capacity from 100 to 200 people. The outdoor Bavarian biergarten was replaced by a larger kitchen and a second floor dining room. Fresh finishes and a full bar replacement were also provided.
Fourth Dimension Fun Center, Frederick, MD
First Place - Other Construction ($2 - $5 Million)
The Fourth Dimension Fun Center was a 40,000 square foot build-out at Arcadia Business Park in Frederick, Maryland, which features a 16-lane bowling alley, state-of-the-art laser tag, interactive escape rooms, a 6,000 square foot arcade, XD Dark Ride, and laser maze.

First Place - Commercial (Less than $5 Million)
The new concept store is a 4,245 square foot, one-story exclusive gem and jewelry store. The store includes a services center and 800 square foot vault with state-of-the-art access controls and a living green wall.
