Morgan-Keller, Inc. recently received three Excellence in Construction awards from the Associated Builders and Contractors, Cumberland Valley Chapter. “Receiving these awards is a tribute to Morgan-Keller’s dedication to constructing buildings that are both structurally sound and aesthetically pleasing,” said Jerry Bowman, Executive Vice President of Morgan-Keller, Inc. “The awards are a testament to the team members’ hard work and commitment to excellence.”
Morgan-Keller’s award winners include:
HCC Student Center Expansion, Hagerstown, MD
First Place - Institutional ($10-25 Million)
42,522 SF, two-story expansion of Hagerstown Community College’s (HCC) student center building to provide enhanced cafe dining, campus store, conference room, gaming room, meeting room, student activities office, and veterans connection center.
Residences at Prospect Hall, Frederick, MD
First Place - Residential
This 31-acre project involved construction of 13 three and four-story buildings to provide 376 total apartment units (454,350 total SF). The complex also includes a pool, garages, club house, and site amenities.
Genesis Frederick Skilled Nursing Facility, Frederick, MD
First Place - Healthcare ($10-25 Million)
Construction of a two-story skilled nursing facility, which can house a total of 130 patients. The long-term care unit has 74 beds and the remaining 56 beds are in the short-term transitional care unit. Both units include a main nurse station and include private and semi-private rooms, each with its own bathroom and shower.
