About this Project
This project involved the construction of Blue Ridge Community and Technical College’s first building at their new main campus. The three-story classroom and office building provides a central location for the College’s financial and administrative offices and is the model design concept for future buildings that will be constructed on the campus.
The new facility includes an internet cafe, designated space for a bookstore, a deli servery, 18 classrooms, six science labs, and increased capacity for the College’s testing center. The building also includes a green roof, which Morgan-Keller installed on a two-story wing of the building. Exterior improvements included an 80,000 square foot east and west parking lot, site lighting, code blue pedestal phones, vegetated underground infiltration ponds, and sidewalks.
