About this Project
This project involved interior renovations to all three floors of the Learning Resource Center Building, which houses the William M. Brish Library, the Academic Testing Center, Adult Basic Education, the HCC Police Academy, classrooms, computer laboratories, and faculty offices. The existing library space on the 2nd floor was renovated to include a new area for the Middle College Program with upgrades to the remaining library space. The project also included updating the flooring, paint, and HVAC system throughout the building. The project also included the installation of a dynamic glass system on the south side of the building, which uses building sensors and internet weather data to automatically change the shading of the windows to control heat gain in the room.
